Back in 1966, Athanasios Filaretos established a small company in Asminio village, at the North Evia region in Greece. There, he was selecting the best local fisheries and with extra care, passion and knowledge he cured the fish in sea salt producing his famous North Evia anchovies and sardines preserved in sea salt.
Nowadays, Stathis and Dimitris, his children, following their father’s deep knowledge and care, continue to produce the same premium quality products, awarded for their taste and packaging.
“North Evia” fish delicacies with their unique taste and premium quality are exported in several countries. Today the product range is expanded including a variety of smoked or non smoked fish such as anchovies, sardines, tuna, mackerel, herring, seafood, etc. preserved either in sea salt or in sunflower oil.
Through all these years, “North Evia” products are made of the same pure ingredients and have a consistent taste fulfilling every consumer’s satisfaction.
